The Cathedral was opened and dedicated on the Feast of St James', 25 July 1884. From this time, the Cathedral has become a landmark of faith for the City of Grafton, a community of faith for Anglicans in Grafton and from around the Diocese, and a place of pilgrimage for visitors. The round of daily worship reminds us that this is a place of prayer.
The Cathedral is open each day for quiet reflection. Please feel welcome to join us for worship or simply come and discover the tranquility of this prayerful and sacred place.
May the Lord of peace grant you peace.
The Very Reverend Donald Kirk
Dean of Grafton
