Each year Christ Church Cathedral plays an active part in Grafton's Jacaranda Festival.
The Cathedral is open every day we welcome the many visitors who come to see the Cathedral and to pray within its sacred spaces. It is a privilege to be a place of pilgrimage and prayer for locals and visitors at this time of the year.

The annual Jacaranda Organ Recital is performed by our Director of Music at 3.00pm on Sunday 1st of November 2026. This recital is a long-standing tradition within the Jacaranda Festival. BOOK HERE
At 6.30pm on the same Sunday as the organ recital we host the Jacaranda Ecumenical Service. All welcome to attend this annual community worship service that brings together people from different Christian denominations to celebrate faith, unity, and the Jacaranda season.
Evensong for The Feast of All Souls Friday 6 November 6.00pm. Guest Preacher The Reverend Canon Sally Miller. Features an opportunity to light a candle in memory of loved ones who are no longer with us.
Daily Devonshire Teas in the Parish Centre from Saturday 31st Oct to Saturday 7th Nov. Come along and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and scones with jam and cream. Check out the amazing Jacaranda Embroidery Group Exhibition in the Parish Centre at the same time.
