Each year Christ Church Cathedral plays an active part in Grafton's Jacaranda Festival.
The Cathedral is open every day from early morning until late afternoon, and we welcome many visitors who come to see the Cathedral and to pray within its sacred spaces. It is a privilege to be a place of pilgrimage and prayer for locals and visitors at this time of the year.
The annual Jacaranda Organ Recital is performed by our Director of Music at 3.00pm on the Sunday in the middle of the festival. This recital is a long-standing tradition within the Jacaranda Festival, and is followed by Devonshire Tea in the Cathedral grounds.
At 6.00pm on the same Sunday as the organ recital we host the Jacaranda Ecumenical Service.
