Festival of Flowers
25 October—3 November 2019
Each year during the city's Jacaranda Festival, Christ Church Cathedral celebrates the beauty of creation with its Festival of Flowers.
The Festival of Flowers was inaugurated in 1984 as part of the Cathedral's centenary celebrations, and has been held every year since then.
Members of the Grafton Floral Art Society combine with volunteers from the Cathedral to prepare and host this vibrant celebration of the diversity and abundance of the floral world.
The theme for this year's festival is Bridges of the Clarence as we anticipate the completion of the new Grafton Bridge and celebrate all the other bridges—new and old—across our Big River.
The Festival of Flowers is open between 9.00am and 4:00pm each day.
Admission is $5.00 ($3.00 concession). Children under 14 are free of charge,
In addition to arrangements that reflect the chosen theme, there is an opportunity for people to sponsor additional arrangements in memory of family and friends who are no longer with us. For information on sponsoring a memorial arrangement, please contact the Cathedral Office: email or (02) 66422844.
