Cathedral Church of St George the Martyr, Jerusalem

JERUSALEM, the Holy City, alQuds.

This place is heavy with history and religion, and is home to two nations and three faiths.

​

Because of the strong personal links between our two Cathedrals, we are exploring ways to establish a formal partnership between Christ Church Cathedral in Grafton and St George's Cathedral in Jerusalem.

​

As we stand in conscious solidarity with the Christian community in Palestine and Israel, we fulfil the biblical injunction that we pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

​

More information will be available here as these ideas take shape, but in the meantime we hold the Christians in the Middle East in our prayers, and especially pray for the parishes, hospitals and schools of the Episcopal Church in Israel, Palestine, Jordan and Lebanon.
