Nazareth is a name that resonates with people of Christian faith, as it is the home village of Jesus.

The Anglican Church in Nazareth is known as "Christ Church", which is fitting for a church in Jesus' own village. It is also a place that is very familiar to our Cathedral Dean, for whom Nazareth in the first century is a special topic of research, and for whom this church is one in which he has often prayed with local people and fellow pilgrims.

We are exploring ways that Christ Church Cathedral in Grafton can develop a partnership with Christ Church Parish and School in Nazareth.

The details are yet to be finalised, but we anticipate it will involve sharing news and information, developing personal friendships between our congregations, keeping each other in our prayers, and assisting with special projects that may be developed from time to time.
