CHORAL SCHOLARSHIPS
In 2019 the Cathedral will be offering several scholarships for local children who want to sing in the Choir. These will be equivalent to one third of the annual fees for a student at CVAS, with one scholarship being offered at each of the following year levels: 3–4, 5–6, 7–8, 9–10 and 11–12.
Children who are not attending CVAS are welcome to apply.

Applications for scholarships in 2019 close on 15 September 2018.
Choral Scholarship Conditions

The Choral Scholar shall be a member of the Cathedral Choir for at least the duration of the Scholarship.

The Choral Scholar will sing at the regular Sunday service and other services (Diocesan and as required) in the Cathedral during School Terms and attend a weekly rehearsal.

From time to time, services such as Christmas Services occur outside term time. Scholars will be notified of additional commitments at the beginning of each term. Further changes will be notified as soon as possible.

Failure to meet these expectations may result in termination of scholarship payments.
Choral Scholarship Funds

The scholarship will amount to one third (1/3) of annual tuition fees at Clarence Valley Anglican School. One quarter of the scholarship will be paid direct to the School by the Cathedral each term.

For students attending a school other than CVAS, the scholarship funds will be held by the Cathedral and the family can claim reimbursement for education and/or music expenses.
